C$1 VIP reservation terms

1. What you get

• On launch day we email you a private link to the VIP reward on our Kickstarter campaign: one Toronto Live Map at the VIP price.
• The VIP price. C$199 for one Toronto Live Map, the lowest price at which we offer the map during the Kickstarter campaign.
• If our plans change before launch, the VIP price does not go up for anyone who has already reserved.
• Planned launch: Tuesday 19 January 2027, 11:00 Toronto time. The VIP email goes out right after.
• VIP spots are limited to 75. When they are taken, the reservation link closes, so everyone who has reserved can get the VIP price.
• The VIP reward stays open to reservers for 48 hours after launch. To get the VIP price, back the campaign through your private link within that time.
• VIP updates before launch: behind-the-scenes photos and the launch details a day early.

2. What it is not

• Not a purchase or a pre-order. You buy nothing by reserving and you owe nothing. To get a map you back the campaign on Kickstarter, under Kickstarter's terms. Backing a Kickstarter project means supporting a project that is still being made. Delivery dates are estimates; the current estimate is October 2027.
• Not a credit. The C$1 is separate from your pledge and is not deducted from it.
• Shipping and sales tax are not included in the VIP price. They are charged after the campaign. Planned rates:
  • Canada: C$25 flat, or free pick-up in Toronto, plus sales tax.
  • USA: about C$45 including duties.

3. Refunds

• The C$1 reservation fee is non-refundable, except in the two cases below.
• If the campaign does not launch by 30 April 2027, we refund every reservation automatically.
• If you reserved more than once by mistake, write to info@vivolit.ca from the address you reserved with and we refund the extra reservations.
• Refunds go back to the card you paid with within 2 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show them.

4. If the launch date or the plan changes

• If the launch date moves, we email you the new date and your reservation stays valid.
• If anything else above changes before launch, we tell you by email first.

5. How to reserve

• Use the "Reserve VIP for C$1" button on torontolivemap.ca or in our emails. It opens a payment page run by Stripe, which handles your card details. We receive your name, email address and the payment record, never your card number.
• The charge appears on your statement as VIVOLIT.
• One reservation per person and per email address.
• The price is C$1.00 in Canadian dollars, including GST/HST where it applies.

6. Emails

Reserving means you will receive the messages needed for the reservation:

• the receipt (sent by Stripe);
• a few VIP updates;
• the launch-day link;
• refund confirmations.

7. Who you are dealing with

Vivolit is an independent company. The Toronto Live Map is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), the City of Toronto or Metrolinx. Kickstarter is a separate company and is not responsible for these reservations.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in them limits your rights under consumer protection law.
